Mistweaver Monk Mythic+ Guide

Use your throughput cooldowns— Jade Empowerment, Aspect of Harmony, Sheilun’s Gift, Invoke Chi-Ji, the Red Crane, and Revival—during periods of heavy damage to keep your group healthy and alive.
Cast Jadefire Stomp and make sure to stand in its ground effect.
- Heals several allies in its path with Gust of Mists.
- Activates Jadefire Teachings, allowing our single-target damaging abilities to heal our allies.
- Standing in the ground effect grants us the Awakened Jadefire effect, further increasing our damage to healing conversion.
Don’t let Renewing Mist stay at maximum charges. The healing increase from Chi Harmony is important for keeping players alive.
Cast Rising Sun Kick on cooldown. This extends your active Renewing Mist and Enveloping Mist buffs.
Use Thunder Focus Tea frequently.
- Allows you to draw from your vitality pool via Aspect of Harmony. Players with this buff active on them receive more healing from you through the Coalescence effect.
- The guaranteed Zen Pulse from Deep Clarity is incredibly reliable for higher group-wide healing.
- Generates a stack of Jade Empowerment to heal your group through Ancient Teachings.
- Most of the time, you’ll want to use it on Rising Sun Kick for more Rising Mist extensions and damage (and healing through Ancient Teachings.
- As an extra defensive, you can use it on Expel Harm for an absorb shield and more damage.
- An instant-cast Enveloping Mist can save someone’s life.
Heal your allies with Vivify when the incoming damage is more than your damaging abilities can cover.
Use damaging abilities to heal your allies through Awakened Jadefire and Ancient Teachings.
- When there are 4+ enemy targets, use Spinning Crane Kick to heal allies via Awakened Jadefire.
- At 3 or fewer enemies, keep Rising Sun Kick on cooldown while you use Tiger Palm to build Teachings of the Monastery stacks quickly, using Blackout Kick to cleave multiple enemies at once.
If you need to move shortly, you can cast Chi Burst through your allies and remaining enemies, in order to quickly reset the cooldown of Jadefire Stomp, so that it’s available as you reposition.

2-Set Bonus – Your healing spells have a chance to apply Insurance! to their targets that heals them over 15 seconds. Insurance! is consumed if an ally drops below 40% health to heal them instantly.
4-Set Bonus – Casting Renewing Mist applies Insurance! for 6 seconds. The healing of Insurance! is increased by up to 50% in proportion to the coverage Renewing Mist has on you and up to 10 allies.

General Tips

Keep Renewing Mist Rolling

Renewing mist is core to our spec. Nearly everything in our talent tree synergizes with it, and you should aim to keep 5 up at all times on all allies in a M+ environment.

Pair Cooldowns w/ Boss Mechanics

Practice makes perfect, and being able know the damage before it comes really helps smooth things out. Try and get boss timer to know when a specific ability is going to happen, then pair a cooldown of your own to offset it.

Use Procs

Spread your healing with things like Zen Pulse, Vivacious Vivification, and Strength of the Black Ox. Reacting to these procs and significantly increase your HPS.

Stat Priority

Haste: Increases attack speed and spell casting speed. This also applies to pets.
Critical Strike: Chance for extra effectiveness on attacks and heals (double damage/healing).
Mastery: Increases the effectiveness of Gust of Mists
Versatility: Increases damage and healing, and reduces damage taken.

1. Intellect- As with all specs, main stat will be top priority.

2. Haste- This stat is very important to Mistweaver. Rising Sun Kick, Blackout Kick, Renewing Mist and Enveloping Mist are able to be cast more frequently. This also decreases the time between each tick in specific healing events, such as a HoT like Renewing Mist.

3. Critical Strike- Critical Strike on Mistweaver has pretty good synergy with Uplifted Spirits giving more CDR to one of your main healing cooldowns.

4. Mastery – Gust of Mists is our mastery. The healing from this counts as another healing event that can benefit from both Versatility as well as Critical strike, basically meaning that even with low mastery, we can still get good throughput from it due to other stats impacting it.

5. Versatility – Flat damage & damage reduction, good for higher key survivability if needed.
